CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

"Concentrate on doing your best for God, work you won't be ashamed of, laying out the truth plain and simple."

2 Timothy 2:15, The Message Bible

ADULT MINISTRY

Our goal is to prepare, challenge, and inspire women and men to a life of Christian discipleship. It is our desire and mission that every adult become a full and fulfilled disciple of Jesus Christ, and that each person will have a passion for Christian service, whether it is across the street or around the globe.

YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY

Our goal is to transform and impact the lives of Young Adults through Christian principles, developing Godly relationships, demonstrating spiritual growth, and striving to discover God’s purpose for our lives.

YOUTH MINISTRY

Our goal is to discover and develop the talent in this age group.  The young people should be aided in conducting themselves in a way to get the maximum achievement in character and commitment to Jesus Christ while allowing room for individual expression.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

The children's ministry is a very special ministry and it requires very special people to lead this ministry.  Our goal is to supervise and promote the work of Christian Education with the children.  The children will learn through programs and activities designed for their age group.

CHURCH SCHOOL

The purpose of the Church School is to give interpretation and guidance in the Christian way of life.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH MINISTRY

The Children's Church Ministry is charged with providing spiritual training for the children.  Its purpose is to instruct the children in the Bible, order of worship, and the catechism of our Zion that they may mature in the Lord and in their relationship with each other.  The children, ages 4 to 11, have their own church service.  Special volunteers/ministers will supervise them.  The children will lead praise/worship, collect their own offering, have Bible Study, and close Children's Church with prayer.  The Children's Church has its own curriculum.

INTERCESSORY PRAYER

"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil."
1 Thessalonians 5:16-22, New King James Version

INTERCESSORY PRAYER

The members are responsible for praying to God to give us victory over the devil.  The prayer warriors must have the Holy Spirit, a heart for prayer, a good relationship with God and love for all people.

Our goal is to keep prayer at the forefront of the church. We are committed to praying for the church, our community, our state, our nation, and for the concerns of the world.  Our objective is to make daily prayers and worship a priority both individually and corporately.

EVANGELISM & OUTREACH

Our goal for evangelism is to present Jesus Christ as Lord, so that persons will accept Jesus as their Savior and declare Jesus as Lord as they seek to follow Jesus in their daily lives. We will encompass living a life modeled after Jesus in word and deed.

"He who gives to the poor will not lack, but he who hides his eyes will have many curses."

Proverbs 28:27, New King James Version

GIVING

We believe that giving is an act of worship. God’s Holy Word teaches us that God is the source of everything we have. God owns it all and He has made us stewards or managers of what belongs to Him. God requires that we return a portion back to Him through our giving to the church. Give to the ministry efforts of Pineville AME Zion Church with your tithes and offerings. Thank you for your generosity.

CHARITABLE GIVING: OVERSEAS

We support the local needs of the homeless as well as the overseas work of Southern Africa.  We invite you to be an online supporter to help provide for the less fortunate.  Your donation is tax deductible.

Please remain prayerful for our nation and our world.
